Bucket elevators, a large heavy equipment ,are common industrial devices used to elevate bulk materials, and outwardly they appear to be simple devices. Wherever huge amounts of overburden and earth have to be extracted and moved efficiently and cost-effectively in order to get at deeper raw material layers large bucket wheel excavators are used.However having a rigid bucket bolted to a flexible belt creates difficulties at the interface of the belt, bucket and head pulley. At the point where a bucket’s connection line to the belt contacts the pulley, the tip of the bucket must undergo a theoretically infinite acceleration. In reality, as the point of tangency is reached, the tip of the bucket lags behind its theoretical position before accelerating and overshooting its nominally correct position. This motion is complicated with the bulk material contained within the bucket being able to decouple and re-engage with the bucket during the transition phase.With capabilities to carry loads ranging from 150 to 12,000 m3 per hour (200 to 15,700 yd3 per hour), and mining formations with a compressive strength of 20 MPa (2,900 psi) or greater, our BWE line features a modular framework structure that allows it to easily be optimised for a variety of applications.

A hydrocyclone is a device to classify/separate or sort particles in a liquid suspension based on the densities of the particles. A hydrocyclone may be used to separate solids from liquids or to separate liquids of different density.A hydrocyclone will normally have a cylindrical section at the top where liquid is being fed , and a base. The angle, and hence length of the conical section, plays a role in determining operating characteristics.
A hydrocyclone has two exits on the axis: the smaller on the bottom (underflow or reject) and a larger at the top (overflow or accept). The underflow is generally the denser or thicker fraction, while the overflow is the lighter or more fluid fraction.Internally, centrifugal force is countered by the resistance of the liquid, with the effect that larger or denser particles are transported to the wall for eventual exit at the reject side with a limited amount of liquid, whilst the finer, or less dense particles, remain in the liquid and exit at the overflow side through a tube extending slightly into the body of the cyclone at the center.Forward hydrocyclones remove particles that are denser than the surrounding fluid, while reverse hydrocyclones remove particles that are less dense than the surrounding fluid. In a reverse hydrocyclone the overflow is at the apex and the underflow at the base. There are also parallel flowhydrocyclones where both the accept and reject are removed at the apex. Parallel-flowhydrocyclones remove particles that are lighter than the surround fluid.

Also known as a plate settler, this type of treatment system utilizes a series of inclined plates to remove particles and solids from liquids. It is these series of plates that make it unique among other water clarifiers. The plates work by serving as a larger settling space for small particulates, and as they are collected the particles settle and eventually accumulate in the hoppers located at the bottom of the clarifier. This sludge can then be drawn out while the clean liquid can be removed via the top over the weir.
Clarifiers are used when the wastewater has a large collection of solids that need to be removed. Clarifiers work by utilizing gravity which allows settling of larger particles to occur on the plates while the — now clean — water is allowed to flow freely past. This natural process of settling can be enhanced with the addition of a polyelectrolyte and a coagulant. The polyelectrolyte caused the flocs to combine and bind together, forming chains that are heavy enough to settle easily, while coagulants neutralize charges and conglomerate the solids into micro-floc forms.
Some wastewater can also contain scum that won’t settle to the plates. This means they will have to be collected on the surface via a scum removal arrangement. It is generally recommended that you remove excess oils or grease before filtering the wastewater into the lamella clarifier. While there is an outlet skimmer for catching these oils, it is recommended only in smaller amounts.

The breaker feeder is typically used in opencast coal mining to link the mobile and stationary equipments of the section. It evens the flow of coal onto the conveyor belt and breaks the coal down to a manageable size thus increasing opencast production.
The main structure of the feeder breaker comprises of two components: (1) the Inlet Frame and (2) the Under Carriage. The Inlet Frame is the receiving end of the frame in which coal is fed by the dumper through a hopper. The Under Carriage forms the drive end of the conveyor. A single crusher drum is centrally mounted and crushed coal is discharged to a belt conveyor from the elevated end of the Under Carriage.
